Alternative city maps already exist (online or as apps) in Basel, Zurich, Berlin or Leipzig.  These maps include solidarity-based structures, political and voluntary initiatives, free offers, and urban public spaces. We would like to start something similar for the city of Bern. The aim is to make the different places of solidarity in Bern more visible and accessible to more people. And above all, we get to know each other better and build networks. We see SolidarityCity mapping as a process with the vision of developing solidary infrastructure in our city. Those who live in Bern should feel part of the community, and be able to participate and shape it no matter where they come from, or how much money they have.

We invite everyone to spend an afternoon discussing this idea and planning the first steps.

Until now, Wir alle sind Bern, Solinetz Bern and Migrant Solidarity Network are involved in the process of the SolidarityCity Mapping.
